The process of registering for high school in Mexico City has recently changed. Starting Tuesday, March 18, students who are about to finish secondary education will be able to participate in a new space allocation system in upper secondary schools. This change was driven by President Claudia Sheinbaum, who considered that the Comipems exam no longer guaranteed spots for all students.
To register in this new system, candidates must create an account on the official page 'My Right, My Place'. When starting the registration, they will be asked to enter personal details such as CURP, address, phone number, and email. Additionally, they must upload the electronic file of their secondary education certificate and answer a survey with general information. They will also be required to choose the schools they wish to enter.
It is important to highlight that this allocation process for places in high schools will have specific requirements that will depend on the availability of each school. The call for applications is already open to access the 'My Right, My Place' platform and complete the registration with the aim of enrolling to study high school. The deadline for registration is April 15.
The results of the space allocation will be announced on Tuesday, August 19, through the Electronic Gazette of Results. Students will be able to consult them on the same portal where they registered by entering their folio number and CURP. Those who have not received a confirmation email will find the registration instructions in the Electronic Gazette, along with the dates for document submission.
