The governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, conducted a supervisory tour alongside Vice Admiral José Daniel Reséndiz Sandoval, commander of the Fourth Naval Region, in an area selected to be donated by the State Government to the Secretary of the Navy in Altata. The objective is to build the Naval Sector facilities in this port.
After leading the Security Table in Altata, Rocha and Reséndiz visited the potential site for the construction of the headquarters of the Mexican Navy, following the agreement reached last year between the governor and the Secretary of the Navy, Admiral Raymundo Pedro Morales Ángeles.
During this tour, the Secretary of Administration and Finance, Joaquín Landeros Guicho, was also present.
During the visit, Governor Rocha expressed his commitment to security and highlighted the importance of this collaboration between the State Government and the Secretary of the Navy to strengthen naval operations in the region. Reséndiz, for his part, emphasized the strategic relevance of Altata and thanked the support of state authorities for the establishment of the Naval Sector in the area.
