Claudia Sheinbaum accuses entities of allocating 20 million pesos for spreading false trends on social media during a political crisis. Investigations reveal deeper issues related to political manipulation and corruption.

Controversy over Funding for Social Media Campaign

Recently, the head of government of Mexico City, Sheinbaum, has denounced the existence of a false campaign on social media, whose financing of 20 million pesos is suspicious. It is pointed out that this maneuver aims to defame and discredit searchers who have been reporting harassment and threats from criminal and political groups. These brave women have dedicated themselves to revealing information about disappearances in Mexico, exposing the harsh truth behind these crimes.

One of the highlighted points is the restructuring in Pemex, where a process has begun involving investigations and possible criminal charges against some officials. Furthermore, it is noted that the oil company will pay its suppliers 127 billion pesos in March and April, which accounts for a quarter of its debts.

In another relevant topic, progress in the search for the missing is highlighted, with the announcement that ground-penetrating radar and drones will be used to carry out these tasks. The National Commission dedicated to this work will have more personnel and technology, according to a recent presidential decree.

Additionally, the existence of extermination camps since 2006 is brought to light, with various locations in Mexico where the violence of organized crime has exposed atrocities over the last two decades. This heartbreaking situation adds to the struggle of the searchers to clarify the truth and seek justice for the victims of disappearances.

Amid these events, the promulgation of secondary laws in energy and the vertical integration of the state-owned company is noted, as well as measures announced by Sheinbaum that, according to the Prodh Center, result in what is already provided in the Law on Disappearances. Finally, information is reported on the admission of the overpriced purchase of medications by Birmex, revealing a case of corruption that the 4T is finally confronting.
