Suspects in Homicides Arrested in Tultitlán Municipality

In the State of Mexico, in the Tultitlán municipality, 11 people suspected of involvement in at least 16 homicides have been arrested in a joint operation by federal and state authorities. Among those detained is a police officer suspected of leading a criminal group.


Suspects in Homicides Arrested in Tultitlán Municipality

Based on the information gathered, agents identified the municipalities of Tultitlán and Coacalco as areas of movement for violence-generating groups. Following the implementation of coordinated operations, security personnel executed the corresponding arrest warrants. Federal and state authorities arrested 10 men and one woman linked to at least 16 homicides in the State of Mexico, particularly in the municipality of Tultitlán. Among those detained is Lucio “N”, alias “El Señor del Sombrero”, who serves as the Head of Intelligence Operations for the Tultitlán Municipal Police. The operations involved personnel from the Secretariat of National Defense, Secretariat of the Navy, Attorney General's Office, National Guard, and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office for Justice and the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico. Through intelligence and investigative work, the institutions developed lines of action to identify those responsible for various crimes in the municipality of Tultitlán. The detainees were informed of their legal rights and were admitted to the entity's penitentiary centers, where the competent authority will determine their legal status, according to official information. Through information cross-referencing, it was learned that two of the detainees were also from the Tultitlán Municipal Police. Criminal Group “Los Monas”: - Lucio “N”, alias “El Señor del Sombrero”: Served as leader and Head of Intelligence Operations for the Municipal Police. - Francisco Javier “N”, alias “El Donas”: Identified as a shock group leader. - Pako Uriel “N”: Served as a hitman. - Fátima “N”, alias “La Fany”: Identified as a distributor and in charge of a safe house. - Enrique “N”: Municipal Police officer and hitman. - Iván “N”, alias “Meca”: Identified as a lookout. - Néstor “N”: Identified as a lookout. Criminal Group “Portales”: - Gojan Josafat “N”: Identified as a lookout. - Einar Quitze “N”: Identified as a lookout.
