Felix Arratia, the mayor of Juárez, has been invited to join the state cabinet. Miguel Ángel Flores, Secretary of Government, confirmed that the member of MORENA has submitted a leave of absence request to the local Congress. The document was presented at around 09:00 in the Official Registry of the Legislative Branch. This request opens the possibility of his return to the state administration. Although he did not specify the exact position he would occupy, Flores revealed that there is a formal proposal for the mayor to join the governor's team. 'A state invitation is waiting for him to come in here,' the official assured. Respect for timelines and full support The secretary urged prudence and respect for Arratia's process. He noted that the interested party himself must communicate his next steps. 'We will wait for the moments that the mayor communicates where he is going. Let us be respectful of the timelines and his person so that he is the one who says,' Flores stated. Flores did not spare praise for Arratia; he highlighted both his professional performance and his personal closeness. 'The state administration has always supported him. As soon as there is any change, we have to make it public in the Official Gazette,' he pointed out. Flores emphasized that any adjustments will be made through the corresponding institutional channels. 'I support the decision he makes,' he affirmed.
