The material shows a group of men singing a “tumbado corrido” that says the following: “The corrido sounds strong in your land. Living or migrating to the U.S. is a crime. Return to your roots. Return to your roots with #CBPHome. Living or migrating to the U.S. You don't have to go far to get ahead”. In turn, this week it was reported that hundreds of migrants from different Caribbean and Central American countries set out on foot early Wednesday from southern Mexico in the 'Genesis 2026' caravan, with the aim of reaching the northern states in search of regularization and better opportunities, after giving up the dream of reaching the United States. In Tapachula, Chiapas, migrants reported that they have been carrying out procedures before the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance (Comar) for up to a year and a half, without receiving a favorable response.
