In the Sierra de Cosalá, Sinaloa, the forces of the Army and the National Guard seized a vehicle of artisanal manufacture known as a "monster truck" in military green. The vehicle was spotted by local residents and subsequently transported to Mazatlán under the custody of the authorities.
According to local media reports, it is a Ford Super Duty truck adapted with artisanal armor. The structure of the vehicle includes encapsulation in the cargo area and a rotating turret with the capacity for 360-degree mobility on the top, designed to house a shooter.
So far, authorities have not revealed whether the seizure of the "monster truck" resulted in the detention of individuals or if any additional incidents occurred during the operation. The vehicle was transported on a flatbed tow truck belonging to a local company in Mazatlán, escorted by personnel from the Secretariat of National Defense.
It is expected that in the coming hours, authorities will provide more information related to the operations carried out in the Sierra de Cosalá, including possible additional seizures of vehicles or detentions.
