Pablo Lemus Unveils Key Female Cabinet Members

Pablo Lemus Navarro, elected governor of Jalisco, has presented an important part of his cabinet for the 2024-2030 term, highlighting the commitment to justice, support for women, and social development. On this occasion, he has appointed three women who will be key figures in the state administration. Tatiana Anaya Zúñiga will serve as the head of the State Legal Advisory, Sofía García Mosqueda will lead the Network of Justice Centers for Women, and Karen Gutiérrez Lascurain will be the director of the Network of Community Centers.

In his statements, Lemus Navarro emphasized the importance of integrating profiles that benefit the state, regardless of their party affiliation: "Our government project is not a partisan project, it is a project of citizenship that must consider the best Jaliscienses to lead each area".

Sofía García Mosqueda stated that she plans to expand the Network of Justice Centers for Women and proposes the implementation of electronic bracelets for offenders, along with the provision of Pulsos de Vida to protect women at risk. She expressed her commitment to work tirelessly to achieve an equal, violence-free, and safe Jalisco for all women in the state.

Karen Gutiérrez Lascurain, who will be in charge of the Network of Community Centers, will focus on rebuilding the social fabric in neighborhoods and municipalities with crime problems. The Community Centers aim to promote values of cooperation, solidarity, and equity, inspired by the successful model of Library Parks in Medellín, Colombia, which began to be implemented in Zapopan in 2015 and extended to Guadalajara during the administration of Pablo Lemus.
