Less than a month before the start of the thirty-second edition of the Mexican Open Tennis, the complete list of players competing in the tournament's main draw was revealed. The event will take place from February 24 to March 1 of this year. Among the prominent participants, the tournament will feature four players from the top 10 and eight from the top 20. The German Alexander Zverev is the most outstanding player and will be the top seed. Other notable tennis players who will delight fans in Acapulco are Taylor Fritz (4), Casper Ruud (8), Tommy Paul (9), Holger Rune (12), Ben Shelton (14), Lorenzo Mussetti (17), and Frances Tiafoe (18).

"This is one of the most interesting lists in recent years. The AMT is one of the best tournaments in the world and the best in Latin America," said Álvaro Falla, the tournament director. José Antonio Fernández, operator of Mextenis, mentioned that the facilities are optimal and that Acapulco has seen a remarkable increase after Hurricane Otis, with a hotel occupancy of 96% in December. It is estimated that the economic impact for this edition will reach 700 million pesos.

Rodrigo Pacheco received a wildcard to participate in the tournament's main draw, as confirmed by Álvaro Falla. This opportunity is granted to allow Mexican players to gain experience facing high-level opponents. Furthermore, it was indicated that other Mexican tennis players might also participate in the event, as it represents an opportunity for their professional growth. "Following the path we have outlined, we open opportunities for Mexicans to continue participating and excelling in tournaments like the one we just inaugurated in Cancún. It is our way of supporting them," emphasized Falla.
