In Guanajuato, an investigation has been opened to clarify a car bomb attack that has left three police officers injured in Acámbaro. The Attorney General's Office is working together with local and state authorities to solve the case.

In a meeting at the state C5, the Security Cabinet met with the mayors of Acámbaro and Jerécuaro to coordinate strategic actions. The importance of protecting the population and strengthening security in the state was discussed, as well as providing support to the injured police officers.

The governor of Guanajuato has requested institutional support for the affected security personnel and has asked for a structural review of the places affected by the attack. Fortunately, there were no civilians or more police officers injured in the incident.

In Jerécuaro, an explosion caused damage to vehicles and buildings in the early hours of the morning. In response to these events, a security operation has been implemented in both municipalities, with the participation of various armed and police forces.

Governor Libia García emphasized that she will not allow the attacks to halt the state's security strategy and is using various strategies to prevent future criminal acts. In the deployed operation, both ground and aerial resources are being used with the aim of capturing those responsible and protecting citizens. Although there have been no arrests so far, efforts continue to identify those responsible as soon as possible.
