Executives from the Franco-Japanese company Kotobukiya Trèves de México (KTMex) informed Governor Tere Jiménez about their decision to invest approximately 293 million pesos in the expansion of their plant in Aguascalientes, which is dedicated to manufacturing components for the automotive industry.

The governor expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in Aguascalientes and assured the executives that their investment is backed by the state, committing to being allies of investors and continuing to work to create the ideal conditions that allow them to grow.

Ian Bonell, Regional Operations Director for North America at KTMex, praised Governor Tere Jiménez's commitment to the development and growth of Aguascalientes, noting that the decision to expand operations in the entity is due to the good results obtained at the plant in the San Francisco de los Romo Industrial Park.

Regarding KTMex's expansion project, it includes the construction of a new building that will generate more than 160 new jobs. Bonell highlighted that the plant in Aguascalientes is one of the 27 that the company operates in 15 countries around the world. In addition to emphasizing the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, as well as the quality of the human capital in Aguascalientes, he mentioned that among KTMex's main clients are companies such as Nissan, Honda, General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis, among others.
