New Leadership in PAN Senate Coordination

The new parliamentary coordinator of the PAN in the Senate, Ricardo Anaya, and Jorge Romero rejected holding the raffle to select candidates for the Judicial Power for the judicial election. Each bench independently decided not to participate in this process, in line with their opposition to the judicial reform. Romero highlighted the PAN's stance and assured that they will not engage in what they consider a farce.

Romero announced that Anaya will be the coordinator of the bench in the Senate, replacing Guadalupe Murguía, and asserted that they will continue to support everything that benefits families while opposing anything that goes against their interests. In addition, he mentioned that the PAN voted in favor of the reform to improve indigenous and animal rights but will oppose the Infonavit reform.

At the PAN plenary meeting in Aguascalientes, Romero appointed Anaya as Parliamentary Coordinator in the Senate. He emphasized Anaya's importance as an influential voice in Mexico and criticized the "meritocratic" process that led to the raffle for selecting Judicial Power candidates. Romero indicated that they will introduce an initiative to modify the IEPS through the Chamber of Deputies to prevent an increase in gasoline prices.
