On Monday, March 9th, in the afternoon, a shooting attack targeted a man in the Las Margaritas neighborhood, Apodaca municipality, Nuevo León state, which resulted in the death of his 6-year-old son. The incident occurred at the intersection of Acapulco Avenue and Girasol Street, outside Saturnino Herrán primary school. According to official reports, the subject was with his family in a vehicle when criminals opened fire on them. The man managed to survive and fled the scene after the attack, abandoning his family and the vehicle. The State Investigations Agency of the state has initiated the corresponding investigations to clarify the case. Upon hearing the gunshots, witnesses ran and re-entered the primary school to take refuge. The Public Security and Transit Secretariat of Apodaca lamented the minor's death and the outcome of the events.
