La Casa del Actor announced the passing of Alma Rosa Aguirre, actress of the golden age of Mexican cinema, on January 27, 2025, at the age of 95 in their facilities, surrounded by the affection of her colleagues. The actress, born in Chihuahua, gained recognition in the film industry through beauty contests in which she participated alongside her sisters Elsa and Hilda.

After giving birth to her daughter Emma Isela and divorcing, in 1972 she decided to return to the big screen with the film 'El diablo anda entre monjas', sharing credits with Vicente Fernández. Throughout her career, she participated in more than 30 films that kept her popular, with titles such as 'Yo quiero ser hombre', 'El siete machos', 'Nosotras las sirvientas', and 'Al diablo con las mujeres'.

Alma Rosa Aguirre decided to retire from acting to spend more time with her family, and in 2018 she moved to La Casa del Actor, where she spent her last years surrounded by admiration from her colleagues and the staff of the institution.
