
The governor of Chihuahua, Maru Campos, reported on the achievements reached during her administration in various fields. In road infrastructure, more than 3,800 million pesos were invested in the rehabilitation of 4,500 km of roads, including important sections such as Camargo-Delicias and Chihuahua-Cuauhtémoc. The Mennonite Commercial Corridor was also renewed.
Regarding drinking water, a coverage of 91% in service was achieved, benefiting more than 200,000 residents of Chihuahua. In economic matters, Chihuahua received more than 1,250 million dollars in Foreign Direct Investment and leads the generation of formal employment in the manufacturing industry at the national level.
In finance, the commitment to maintain a balanced and deficit-free budget was highlighted, along with intelligent resource management. Additionally, 600 million pesos were invested to combat the effects of drought, and this investment is expected to increase in the future. The delivery of scholarships to more than 55,000 students, improvements in educational facilities, and investment in police equipment were also emphasized.
During her Third Work Report, Maru Campos reiterated her commitment to continue leading and facing future challenges. She highlighted her resilience in the face of political adversities in the past and underscored her determination to work for the well-being of Chihuahua. She presented the NutriChihuahua strategy to combat food poverty and detailed existing programs to address this issue.
In the health field, more than 2 million free medical services have been provided through MediChihuahua, including over 21,000 radiation therapies. Together, the actions and programs implemented during her administration aim to improve different aspects of the quality of life for the people of Chihuahua.
