The detained was arrested in Jesú Maria, Culiacán, Sinaloa, during a coordinated operation involving the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), the National Guard (GN), the Secretary of Navy (Semar), the FGR, and the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC). According to the official statement, the forces were conducting crime prevention patrols when they were attacked with firearms by the occupants of a truck.
