In a joint operation carried out on February 20, Mexican authorities managed to capture Kevin Alonso "El 200", who is known for being the head of security for Los Chapitos, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, alias "Chapito". Simultaneously, José Alonso, Kevin Alonso's uncle, was also detained for carrying firearms and tactical equipment. The video that circulated on social media shows the clashes between authorities and members of Los Chapitos in Jesús María, Sinaloa, where gunfire from Mexican army aircraft and its impact in the confrontation area can be seen.
