The discovery was made in the village of El Ranchito, during the “Operation Search, Location and Destruction of Clandestine Laboratories”. “With actions like this, the federal and state governments reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding the integrity of Sinaloan society,” it was stated. Finally, citizens were reminded of the channels to report illicit activities: dial 911 in case of an emergency or 089 to file anonymous complaints. Subsequently, the military personnel “proceeded to destroy it,” physically eradicating the crop. Joint operation by federal and state forces located and destroyed a marijuana plantation in a rural area of the municipality of Culiacán, Sinaloa.
