Controversy Surrounds Sinaloa Governor's Lavish Lifestyle

In the midst of a situation of insecurity and economic crisis faced by the population, social media posts have highlighted the extravagant clothing of Sinaloa's governor, Rubén Rocha Moya, causing discomfort among citizens.

According to content creator Vampipe, the state leader has been photographed wearing high-cost items, such as Hermes brand sneakers valued at 21,000 pesos and Zegna leather jackets priced at 33,500 pesos each. These images have sparked criticism and questions from the population.

In a different incident, Rocha Moya experienced an embarrassing moment when he got stuck in an elevator at the Chamber of Deputies along with other legislators before a meeting. The situation was promptly resolved by Civil Protection staff; however, the incidents involving the governor have increased the pressure on him.

Additionally, flyers dropped from a small plane in Culiacán warned about alleged plans by criminal groups to overthrow Rocha Moya's administration, accusing him of collaborating with criminals. These situations add to the violence and uncertainty facing the state of Sinaloa, demanding responses in security and transparency from the governor.

The perception of corruption and links to organized crime has become common among citizens due to these scandals. Despite the austerity speeches from his administration, criticism of Rocha Moya for his luxurious lifestyle amid the crisis and violence in the region has increased, presenting a serious challenge for the state government.
