Alliance between Cartels: Culiacán Under the Microscope

According to recent information, Jassiel Abdiel Guzmán met with Audías Flores Silva, known as “El Jardinero,” with the aim of establishing a possible alliance between the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and the Sinaloa Cartel. To strengthen their influence, it is said that the brother Iván Archivaldo and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar have also been making moves with different cartels, including the CJNG, suggesting an alliance between the Sinaloa Cartel and this criminal organization.

According to journalist José Luis Montenegro, close to the mentioned brothers, Jassiel Abdiel Guzmán Araujo would be starting to inform on his associates out of fear of being betrayed previously. In this sense, it has been mentioned that Óscar Noé Medina González, alias “El Panu,” and an operator of “Los Chapitos,” could be captured in the coming days, being sought by U.S. authorities with a reward of 4 million dollars.

José Luis Montenegro indicated that Iván Archivaldo Guzmán, representative of “Los Chapitos,” managed to evade Mexican authorities using a tunnel, emulating the escape tactic of his father, “El Chapo” Guzmán. The expert mentioned that although they almost captured him, Iván Archivaldo would have escaped through a tunnel in Culiacán, Sinaloa, and would be injured according to close sources.

Montenegro also explained that the leader of “Los Chapitos” is experiencing an increase in operations in Culiacán, which generates fear of possible arrests, especially after the declaration of Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations by Donald Trump. This situation has led Iván Archivaldo to live in a state of constant nervousness, besieged by pressure and fear of being captured.
