During the event, the governor stated that proposals from the new leadership to strengthen the textile-fashion value chain in the entity will be analyzed. He also explained: "We plan to expand the highway to Chapala to 12 lanes with shoulders, sidewalks, bike lanes, hydraulic concrete, and tree-lined areas, and to grow the public transportation system." It should be noted that this official act takes place within the framework of the 65th anniversary of the Western Textile Chamber and at a moment considered to be one of consolidation for the industry. In this context, the State Government reiterated its willingness to maintain coordination with the productive sector. Likewise, the importance of strengthening alliances between authorities and entrepreneurs to boost competitiveness, attract investment, and position Jalisco as a national economic benchmark was highlighted.

Among the measures proposed, the possibility of prioritizing local suppliers in the acquisition of products such as uniforms, t-shirts, socks, and footwear with textile components stands out. According to the information presented, the textile industry in Jalisco maintains a significant presence in municipalities that generate the most economic spill in the state, such as Guadalajara and Zapopan. In total, there are more than 1,150 textile companies that generate employment for more than 3,800 families. These figures reflect the sector's relevance to the local economy, particularly in production, marketing, and export chains. Similarly, the sector has maintained sustained growth, backed by the participation of entrepreneurs and organizations that promote its development.

It should be noted that in addition to strengthening the sector, strategic projects were announced that could impact the economic development of the entity. Among them are the construction of a combined cycle plant and the expansion of the public transportation system towards El Salto, as well as the modernization of the highway to Chapala. "As soon as the World Cup is over, that is, 39 days after June 11, we can begin the work for the infrastructure growth up to the second entrance to El Salto."
