Guadalajara Airport Wins ASQ Award for Service Quality

The airports of Guadalajara, Guanajuato, and Hermosillo were awarded the ASQ Award in the category of 'Airport Service Quality,' as announced by Raúl Revuelta Musalem, CEO of GAP. This recognition highlights airports that provide memorable experiences to passengers, transforming their journey and contributing to the future of air travel, according to Justin Erbacci, CEO of ACI World.

During 2024, Guadalajara International Airport reached a historic record by receiving 17.8 million passengers. Meanwhile, Guanajuato International Airport recorded 3.1 million users, and Hermosillo International Airport 2.1 million. GAP, or Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico S.A.B., manages these airports and others in Mexico.

These recognitions are based on an exclusive study conducted with passengers from various airports worldwide, where Guadalajara International Airport and two other Mexican airports were distinguished for their quality of service. ACI World awarded these distinctions after conducting 700,000 surveys at 95 airports globally.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico manages airports in Mexico and Jamaica, listed on the stock exchanges of Mexico and New York. In 2024, they served 62.2 million passengers, the highest number in their history. These airports, owned by the Government of Mexico, were concessioned for 50 years since 1998 in an effort to privatize and improve the quality of airport services.

GAP's airports in Mexico include Guadalajara, Tijuana, Mexicali, Hermosillo, Los Mochis, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Morelia, La Paz, Los Cabos, Manzanillo, and Puerto Vallarta, serving various cities and tourist destinations. The ASQ Awards are based on a global program for measuring airport experience, awarding airports that stand out for their quality of service.
