Students at a university in Guadalajara, Mexico, launched the 'Light and Hope' campaign. They placed candles in front of balls bearing the names of their missing classmates to show that they remain present in the community's memory and that there is still hope of finding their remains in the future. The campaign was initiated by the university in the Galiceo district of Guadalajara City on the occasion of the city's celebration of hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted with the United States and Canada.
