TV host Pedro Sola shared his experience at Guadalajara International Airport. He noted that the airport is very beautiful and modern but encountered a problem when trying to request an Uber or Didi. According to him, ride-share drivers cannot enter the airport premises as they are not allowed by the National Guard. As a result, passengers have to exit and walk approximately 1 km along a road under construction to get a ride by the roadside. Sola expressed his frustration over not being allowed to choose his own taxi in Mexico. He also praised the Guadalajara airport, calling it spacious, clean, and functional, in contrast to the Mexico City Airport (AICM), which he described as being in a deplorable state.
