Ana María Arroyo, director of Ticketmaster Mexico, revealed that Safetix is already present in iconic venues in the city, with the Auditorio Telmex being the first venue to adopt this technology with successful results.
"We are getting closer and closer to the experience that our fans are looking for," Arroyo noted. Safetix has been specially designed for those recurring followers of live events, providing functionality, reliability, and security through an efficient inventory management process.
Despite the rise of digital tickets, Arroyo clarified that physical paper tickets will not disappear, as they are still used at primary box offices. Guadalajara is consolidating itself as an important destination for national and international artists, alongside Mexico City and Monterrey, within the live entertainment circuit in Mexico.
The Auditorio Telmex, recognized as one of the top ten venues in the world in the theater category by Pollstar magazine, has implemented Safetix, offering attendees a smoother and more reliable entry experience. Carlos Puga, director of the Auditorio Telmex, celebrated the rapid adoption of this technology that reinforces the commitment to providing international quality service.
Additionally, Ticketmaster has launched the Account Manager technology, aimed at facilitating fan welcome at international events. Ana María Arroyo emphasized the importance of Ticketmaster's new global app for Mexicans to participate in unforgettable experiences both nationally and internationally.
With 550 million tickets processed annually in more than 35 countries, Ticketmaster seeks to enhance the fan experience by implementing technology that monitors access in real-time and facilitates venue logistics. In Jalisco, more than 500,000 SafeTix tickets have been scanned in just one year, with this technology being a preferred option for nine out of ten people due to its advantages.
