
The elected governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, announced some key members of his cabinet. Salvador Zamora Zamora, former mayor of Tlajomulco, will take the position in the Secretary of Government. Abigail Rizo de la Torre will head the Institute of Information, Statistics, and Geography, while María Bravo Navarro will be the Director of Youths. Juan Francisco Ramírez Salcido, who served as interim mayor of Guadalajara, will be in charge of the Undersecretary of Government.
In their respective areas, each cabinet member expressed their commitments and visions for the upcoming government. Salvador Zamora highlighted his experience as a local deputy, federal legislator, and mayor of Tlajomulco, ensuring that his work will focus on being close to the people and reconciling with all political and social actors to achieve social peace.
On her part, Patricia Ortega Híjar stated the importance of digitizing the processes of the Public Registry of Property and Commerce, with the aim of avoiding human errors and speeding up procedures through a digital platform. Abigail Rizo de la Torre, the upcoming head of the Institute of Information, Statistics, and Geography, expressed her interest in developing public policies based on data science.
María Bravo Navarro, who will direct the Youth Direction, pledged to establish safe environments and cultural spaces for youth, focusing on crime prevention, violence, and addictions with a culture of peace as the central axis of her work. Lastly, Juan Francisco Ramírez Salcido, undersecretary of government, seeks to create agreements that provide legal certainty in the entity, reducing risks arising from manual processes and improving response times in the services provided.
