The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced that ticket sales for the Intercontinental Playoff matches, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, have begun. The matches will take place in the Mexican cities of Guadalajara and Monterrey. The semi-finals will be held on March 26, and the finals of each of the two paths on March 31. According to the official FIFA website, ticket prices start at 200 Mexican pesos (approximately $11.50). The results of the playoffs will determine two of the six teams still vying for a spot in the tournament, which will feature 48 teams. The Intercontinental Playoff matches will be held at the stadiums of Guadalajara, which will host the first path with teams from Jamaica, New Caledonia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Monterrey, which will host the second path with teams from Bolivia, Suriname, and Iraq. Guadalajara and Monterrey will also be among the host cities for the upcoming World Cup next summer.
