Chivas seeks to bring back their stars and coach

Guadalajara, known as Chivas, is waiting for Argentine Matías Almeyda to finish his contract with AEK to bring him back. It has been reported that Almeyda is interested in returning to the team, according to Jesús Hernández: 'Almeyda told me the other day, 'Jesús talk to Amaury, ask Amaury,' putting all the weight on whether he comes or not. Almeyda wants to come.'

Currently, Chivas has Arturo Ortega as the interim coach and is exploring options for the next season. The team is focused on successfully closing the regular phase of the Apertura 2024 with an eye on qualifying for the Liguilla, but management is already working on planning for the next tournament with the intention of reviving its past glory.

Chivas' desire is to repatriate two of its stars, Alan Pulido and Orbelín Pineda, who currently plays for AEK Athens in Greece. However, the task will not be easy, as both players have valid contracts with their respective teams. Alejandro Gómez, a journalist from Récord, shared this news during the Buen Morning Show.

'Someone who has nothing to do with football but got firsthand information tells me they will try to bring back Orbelín and Pulido,' Gómez mentioned. Additionally, during the same program, Jesús Hernández reported that Matías Almeyda wishes to return to Chivas.
