With 145 completed investment projects, Japan stands out as the main trading partner of the state, driving its economic and social development. Japanese investments have generated more than 48,000 direct jobs and an economic spillover of over 8.9 billion dollars, consolidating Guanajuato as a strategic point for the industry in Mexico.
In particular, the automotive sector has benefited from the arrival of Japanese companies such as Toyota, Mazda, and Honda, as well as a large group of suppliers. This presence has raised quality standards in local industrial processes, further strengthening Guanajuato's position in the country's industry.
