Ford has launched the Bronco Sport update for the year 2025 in Mexico. This legendary SUV presents itself as an excellent option for urban drivers and those seeking off-road adventures. The Bronco Sport 2025 is already available in the country and is offered in four distinct versions.
The model manufactured at the Ford plant in Hermosillo, Sonora, shares a platform with the Maverick. Unlike the standard Bronco, which has a body-on-frame structure oriented towards real 4x4, the Bronco Sport features a unibody construction that makes it more suitable for city and highway driving. However, this vehicle demonstrated its ability to maneuver in challenging terrain without issues during a test drive, thanks to its off-road features.
Equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine generating 250 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission with permanent all-wheel drive, the Bronco Sport offers exceptional performance both in the city and off-road. The HOSS 2.0 (High Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) in the Badlands version, the most equipped, stands out, along with the management of seven G.O.A.T. driving modes and simulated rear differential locking, providing off-road capabilities.
Among the new features of the 2025 model are upgraded headlights, taillights, grille, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and an anti-impact bar on the front of the vehicle. Inside, the 13.2-inch central display, controlled by the SYNC 4 system and compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is notable.
Regarding safety, the Bronco Sport includes nine airbags, systems such as ABS, EBD, CT, ESC, AEB+PD, HSA, EMA, ACC+, LKA, LSW, BSA, RCTA, among others, ensuring occupant protection. Prices for this new version range from 760,000 to 925,000 MXN, depending on the version. The Badlands Sasquatch version, the most equipped, is priced at 925,000 MXN and offers outstanding performance with a top speed of 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, with a fuel consumption of 9.8 km/l and an estimated range of 590 km.
