Gerardo Fernández Noroña Updates on Meat Theft Case

Two months ago, Gerardo Fernández Noroña made a public complaint about the theft of his food products during a flight to Sonora. Recently, the politician resumed his social media to announce that he has located the alleged person responsible for the theft. He shared an image taken from the airport security cameras showing the person in question. The identity of the alleged thief has not been revealed, requesting help to obtain their name.

Regarding the possibility of transporting food by plane, different airlines have specific rules. Aeroméxico, for example, allows carrying food purchased inside the airport and up to 5 liters of alcohol per customer. Within Hermosillo International Airport, butcher shops like Carnes JC, with over 40 years of history, and Rancho 17, which offers a variety of meat cuts and accompaniments for grilling, stand out.

After the incident, Gerardo Fernández Noroña managed to identify the person who took his meat package at the airport. This incident adds to other unfortunate events he has experienced during his flights, such as a verbal assault in the VIP lounge at AICM last year. On that occasion, upon landing in Mexico City from Hermosillo, he noticed the disappearance of his meat package that he had purchased before the flight. Noroña expressed his disappointment on social media regarding what happened and pointed out that it was a situation confirmed by his companion.

The politician has maintained his stance regarding the situation, sharing details through social media and requesting help to identify the alleged responsible person for the theft.
