A few weeks ago, the singer of 'Presidente' was involved in narcomantas linking him to the faction of 'Los Salazar'. Furthermore, the messages included the name of Jorge Chavero Bernal, director of the state Ceresos.

The narcomessages against Natanael Cano caused shock among the population when four primary schools in Hermosillo were vandalized with graffiti mentioning the singers and the public official. "Don't believe the woman who cries, here we are Jalisco Matasalas, pure Mata Salaz greets you (sic)," read one of the messages.

The singers of corridos tumbados Natanael Cano, Tito Torbellino, and Javier Rosas received new threats from 'Los Matasalas', a faction of 'Los Chapitos' that has been operating in Sonora since last year.

The parents of the affected educational institutions decided not to send their children to school, even after the graffiti was removed. This situation has generated fear among families in Sonora.

A teacher felt the need to inform parents about the presence of the narcomessages, assuring them that although classes were not suspended, she understood the parents' concern for their children's safety.

The commissioner of the Criminal Investigation Agency spoke regarding the graffiti in the schools, mentioning that an operation is underway to capture those responsible. Security measures have also been established for the threatened singers, who already have private security devices.

Finally, it was reported that the messages were attributed to the group 'Los Matasalas', which challenges 'Los Salazar' for control in the capital of Sonora. Authorities have detained members of both factions since last year, primarily for being linked to murders and other crimes.
