In a recent challenging act against organized crime, influencers Markitos Toys and singer Natanael Cano reappeared on social media after having been threatened in early 2025.
A photo shared by Markitos on Instagram shows both of them relaxed and enjoying a moment together in a car, showcasing their determination to move forward despite the dangers. The post created a stir on social media, where followers expressed their support for standing firm against the accusations, although there were also concerns about their safety.
Markitos Toys' return to Instagram came at a delicate time, as he and his family have suffered several recent violent attacks. On January 8, his parents' house was attacked by an armed group, and previously, two branches of a family restaurant were also vandalized.
As for Natanael Cano, earlier this month a threatening banner appeared at a high school north of Hermosillo. It contained a warning to the singer and his colleagues in music, as well as influencers who support Los Salazar. The narcomanta popularized on various sites especially urged Natanael C., Tito Torbellino Jr., Javier Rosas, and local groups to stop financially supporting Los Salazares or any other criminal group, under threat of severe consequences.
