The restaurateur Carlos Tirado, known as 'Charly' Tirado, was murdered by a hitman posing as a delivery person from the travel and food platform Didi, according to the Sonora prosecutor's office. Alberto Flores, commissioner of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC), stated that the crime would not be related to extortion by criminal groups.

The motorcycle used by the murderer was found six minutes from the restaurant 'El Charco,' along with the helmet and backpack from the Didi platform used by the assailant to enter the establishment.

Carlos Tirado, 44, was a Mexican businessman known for his restaurant 'El Charco' in Hermosillo, Sonora. Described by his clients as friendly and helpful, he established his business in 2015 and welcomed various artists and personalities, such as Marco Antonio Solís, La Arrolladora, and Ana Gabriela Guevara.

So far, authorities have been unable to link 'Charly' Tirado's murder with organized crime, but they continue to investigate the case. The U.S. Consulate in Hermosillo issued a travel alert for its citizens, reminding them that the state of Sonora is classified as Level 3 in its travel warning.
