The Sonora Prosecutor's Office issued a new search warrant to recapture Saúl Francisco "N", alias "El Ponchis" and/or "El Fantasma". This person escaped from Cereso 1 in Hermosillo on Sunday, May 4. The agency announced a reward of one million pesos for information that contributes to his detention. There are already arrest warrants for several crimes, such as qualified homicide, document forgery, and possession of drugs.
A search block has been formed to recover "El Ponchis", led by the State Security Table. Four possible accomplices have been arrested for evasion of prisoners, criminal association, among others. These individuals are under judicial custody.
Salu Francisco Hernández Tenorio, known as 'El Ponchis' or 'El Fantasma', was the leader of the criminal group 'Los Salazar', linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. He escaped on Monday from the Cereso in Hermosillo. Despite being considered dangerous and a generator of violence, he was in a not so secure prison. He was accused of serious crimes such as qualified homicide and criminal association.
Authorities are deploying operations to recapture this fugitive. Salu Francisco is also known by the name Jorge Hernández Robledo. The capture of this individual was considered a priority, and a reward was offered for his location prior to his escape in May.
