
The Puebla Prosecutor's Office achieved the indictment of a woman for her probable responsibility in crimes against animals, specifically in the case of animal cruelty in Santa Ana Xalmimilulco, Huejotzingo. The accused was arrested on January 14, 2025, in flagrant criminal activity, when she attacked a small dog with a machete, causing various injuries.
According to information provided by the Prosecutor's Office, the woman was apprehended by elements of the Municipal Police of Huejotzingo while she was chasing the animal with a machete. When she attempted to stab the dog, the officers intervened, and although she tried to harm them with the weapon, she was unsuccessful. The accused was presented to the Public Prosecutor for crimes of animal cruelty and attempted intentional injuries.
After carrying out the corresponding procedures, the General Prosecutor's Office of the State of Puebla took legal action against Fabiola 'N', who now faces preventive detention as a precautionary measure. The judicial authority determined that the evidence presented is sufficient to indict her and keep her in justified preventive detention.
