The scientist Octavio Paredes López was assaulted by a French citizen at the Santa Margarita Golf Course in Irapuato, Guanajuato. This assault caused him serious injuries to his face and the loss of a tooth, leaving him disoriented and with bruises that prevented him from returning home normally, having to do so by crawling.
His son, Alex Paredes Saharopulos, reported on social media that the reason for the assault was that the Frenchman identified as Jean-Phillipe became upset because Octavio's dog approached the property where an event was taking place at the golf course. He clarified that the pet never entered the assailant's property, remaining at all times within the limits of the golf course.
The altercation occurred when Octavio went to look for his dog and encountered the foreigner, who without a word punched him in the face, leaving him on the ground, vulnerable. In addition to hitting him, the assailant kicked him and caused injuries to various parts of his body, including his nose, mouth, and the loss of a front tooth.
After the incident, Alex confronted the assailant at the scene, and he threatened to attack Octavio again. In light of this situation, he sought help from the authorities to obtain justice for the brutal assault committed by a foreigner against an elderly man who also boasted of his strength and threatened to take his life.
