A young man from León, Guanajuato, revealed that he was drugged and robbed by a taxi driver during a night trip, which has raised concerns in the community following other similar reports. Carlos Macías shared his experience in a TikTok video, urging others to take precautions to avoid similar situations.

Several users shared similar experiences after the video was posted, warning about taxi drivers who offer drinks to their passengers and then rob them. This phenomenon has sparked concern in the local population, with reported cases of people being abandoned in remote locations after being drugged and stripped of their belongings.

In light of these incidents, people are advised to avoid accepting drinks or any items from strangers and, whenever possible, to share their real-time location with friends or family during taxi rides. Although there have been no official statements from local authorities so far, it is expected that measures will be taken to investigate these events and safeguard the safety of public transport users in León.

According to Carlos's account, on the night of February 14, he got into a green taxi after leaving a bar. During the ride, the driver offered him an alcoholic drink from the brand Caribe Cooler. After consuming it, he lost consciousness and woke up in an empty lot with injuries to his head and shoulder, in addition to having been stripped of his mobile phone, wallet, and watch. A man who found him informed him that he was in the Brisas del Campestre neighborhood.
