In León, Guanajuato, two women were shot and killed while attending their burrito stand in the Las Mandarinas neighborhood. The tragic event occurred on Tuesday morning when the attackers arrived on a motorcycle and without saying a word, opened fire on them, killing them on the spot.

The victims, two sisters identified as María, 48 years old, and Claudia, 50 years old, were engaged in selling burritos in the area. The food stand, known as 'Burritos Doña Chuy', was located on Avellano Street, near the corner with Tomate. Municipal Police found spent cartridges near the bodies and secured the scene for the intervention of the State Attorney General's Office.

The Specialized Homicide Investigation Unit of the Guanajuato State Attorney General's Office began the corresponding investigations, while the Forensic Medical Service took care of the removal of the bodies. Despite the presence of authorities at the crime scene, details about the aggressors and the motives behind the attack have not yet been provided.
