During his visit to Las Glorias beach this Good Friday, the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, shared that the current Holy Week season has generated significant tourist activity in the state, with over 900,000 people moving towards recreational centers, beaches, rivers, and resorts.

"There is a lot of movement at the beaches, a lot of movement," the governor highlighted during his tour of the mountainous destination of Surutato the day before, where he observed the high influx of visitors. "Yesterday I went to Surutato, there are a lot of people too," Rocha Moya mentioned.

Among the notable points is the arrival of 4,000 tourists on a cruise to Mazatlán, emphasizing the importance of tourism as an economic driver. The governor emphasized: "They come and leave resources… they go and eat and buy some little things, souvenirs."

Regarding security, Rocha Moya stated that a solid operation is maintained with around 15,000 personnel deployed throughout the state, specially adapted for tourist areas. "It is duly reinforced, it is more specialized for tourist areas... throughout the state addressing the security issue," he assured. Additionally, he highlighted that no significant incidents have been reported so far.

Thus, Sinaloa consolidates its position as a safe, attractive, and growing tourist destination during Holy Week.
