Relaunch of the 'Made in Nuevo León' Label

The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, announced the relaunch of the "Made in Nuevo León" program, aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises in the region and strengthening the local economy. In a meeting with business leaders, he highlighted the importance of this distinctive label to maintain the entity as an industrial leader in Mexico and Latin America.

The "Made in Nuevo León" program provides companies with the opportunity to access new business opportunities and strengthen their market presence through greater visibility on state promotion platforms and connections with distributors and potential customers. To participate, companies must meet certain requirements, such as having their tax domicile in Nuevo León, offering products manufactured, assembled, or processed in the region, and demonstrating quality standards in their production and marketing.

Several local companies have already confirmed their participation in the program, including Topo Chico, Qualtia, Carta Blanca, Cemex, Maseca, Grupo Alen, and Farmacias del Ahorro. The state government plans to hold periodic meetings with business chambers to address economic and mobility issues, aiming to strengthen collaboration and regional development.

Samuel García Sepúlveda emphasized the importance of consolidating Nuevo León as a national benchmark in industry, academia, and the economy, and expressed his confidence that the "Made in Nuevo León" program will contribute to positioning the region as a leader in the production of quality goods and services.
