In 2012, Pa’l Norte was born, conceived as a space for music, culture, and recreation with the idea of elevating the pride and traditions of the northern part of the country. What began as a risky bet became, in less than a decade, the region's most important musical event.
Edition 2026: a lineup that leaves no doubts. The 2026 edition takes place from March 27 to 29 at Monterrey's Parque Fundidora, bringing together more than 150 artists across multiple stages with over 35 hours of live music. On Friday, the 27th, the headliners are Tyler, The Creator, Interpol, and Deftones; on Saturday, it's Guns N’ Roses' turn, accompanied by a lineup that mixes genres and generations. On Sunday, The Killers, Zoé, The Lumineers, and Halsey close the festival in a final day that well summarizes the eclectic vocation of the event: rock, indie, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music coexisting under the same starry roof.
The festival that becomes fashion. Within that expanding cultural ecosystem, a collaboration emerges that speaks to how Pa’l Norte has permeated beyond the stages: TAF and adidas present the adidas Superstar Especial Pa’l Norte 2026. This is the second consecutive launch of an alliance that combines music, fashion, and sneaker culture from one of the most recognizable formats in global streetwear. The design of the pair is not a superficial appropriation of the festival, but a piece built from the inside out: it is inspired by the first official art of Pa’l Norte from its 2012 edition. Every texture, finish, and graphic element of the sneaker refers to that origin, turning the silhouette into a visual document of fourteen years of shared history. “This second edition reflects the construction of a long-term story,” noted Samuel Martínez, Marketing Director at TAF. The phrase sums up well what this type of collaboration means when done with intention: it's not about stamping a logo on a shoe, but about recognizing that a festival can have the same symbolic weight as any other reference point in urban culture.
The launch will be exclusively available in physical TAF stores and on their digital platform in cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Querétaro, Michoacán, and Pachuca.
