The Tecate Pa’l Norte 2026 festival solidified its position as one of the most influential events in Mexico and all of Latin America, attracting thousands of attendees who crossed the border from the United States to enjoy one of the region's most ambitious lineups. Monterrey, Nuevo León, experienced a historic weekend on March 27, 28, and 29. Finally, on Sunday the 29th, the festival closed with performances by Ximena Sariñana alongside Santiago Casillas, as well as the participation of Fer Mares and Coco Santos. Attendees also participated in customizing accessories, where they decorated cowboy hats and created glasses with their own designs that served as festival souvenirs. In total, the event in the Monterrey region brought together more than 300,000 people over its three days of activities, reaffirming its enormous drawing power on the continent. The international lineup included names with great careers such as Guns n’ Roses, The Killers, Kygo, and Tyler The Creator. These artists led a diverse sound offering that turned Parque Fundidora into the most important musical destination of the past weekend. For residents of border states like Texas, the capital of Nuevo León once again served as the preferred meeting point due to its geographical proximity and the quality of its global-scale event production. Beyond the monumental stages, the organization expanded the range of experiences that accompanied the music. The Tecate District returned for the third consecutive year, consolidated as a space that offered privileged views and exclusive benefits through access via Tecate ID. Likewise, the new 'Cheves y Compas' experience, presented by Tecate Light, introduced an intimate mini-stage within the official venue. This format allowed for spontaneous encounters between artists and fans during the three days of the event. On Friday, March 27, Majo Aguilar and David Velasco opened this space, followed by Daniela Spalla and Esteman. On Saturday, the 28th, the programming featured Paloma Morphy, Macario Mtz, Luck Ra, and Jonaz. Heineken México, a company with 135 years of tradition in the country, drove this initiative that sought to strengthen unity through music. With this closing, Tecate Pa’l Norte reaffirmed its status as the inescapable musical benchmark for the Latin community residing on both sides of the border. Among the most celebrated proposals was the Cheve Lab, where the public refreshed their days with beer-based slushies.
