The Secretariat of Labor will carry out a supervision operation to ensure optimal working conditions for employees in the State. The objective is to monitor that companies provide the necessary equipment and comply with measures that protect workers from low temperatures while performing their duties. Federico Rojas Veloquio, Secretary of Labor, announced that inspections will be conducted randomly throughout the week, as cold temperatures are forecasted that could affect the health of individuals, especially those who work outdoors.

According to Rojas Veloquio: 'The governor has been very clear in deploying coordinated actions to protect people from the consequences of low temperatures, and we, as a secretariat, are vigilant to ensure the safety of workers and make sure they have safe conditions to carry out their activities.'

The Secretariat of Labor will conduct random inspections to verify compliance with health and occupational safety standards, especially regarding the appropriate equipment to protect workers from low temperatures. They will pay close attention to the recommendations from the Ministry of Health regarding this matter.

Civil Protection of Nuevo León has alerted about the highest peak of low temperatures during the early morning and Wednesday.
