
The Congress of the state of Nuevo León is considering the possibility of seeking a loan to prevent projects from being halted due to a lack of budget. The coordinator of the PAN Legislative Group, Carlos de la Fuente, expressed that it is necessary to dialogue to find solutions that benefit citizens and allow for the progress of projects in the region.
According to De la Fuente, it is essential to work together with the Executive Power to correct any situation that may affect the development of Nuevo León. The deputy mentioned that his party is willing to consider the option of indebtedness as a measure to ensure that the works are carried out properly and for the benefit of the population.
Furthermore, it was noted that there are important projects, such as lines 4 and 6 of the Metro, that should be prioritized and supported to contribute to the state's progress. De la Fuente highlighted the importance of not allowing a lack of resources to halt the development of Nuevo León and assured that it is necessary to seek alternatives to ensure the fulfillment of projects.
In this sense, it was mentioned that a dialogue will be opened with the coordinator of Movimiento Ciudadano to address issues such as the budget and the indebtedness of the central government, as well as the situation of the state-owned entity Water and Drainage. De la Fuente expressed the need for a thorough review of the administration of this entity to solve specific problems, such as sanitary drainage in several municipalities.
Regarding the negotiation climate in Congress, it is expected that in this new period progress will be made through consensus and cooperation among the different legislative groups. De la Fuente expressed his party's willingness to dialogue and negotiate with the Executive Power to find solutions that benefit Nuevo León and prevent the state from being affected by a lack of resources and the paralysis of important projects.
