The local deputy for MC, Glen Villarreal Zambrano, presented an exhortation to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) to investigate possible political persecution practices from the Nuevo León Prosecutor's Office, following the case that led to the detention and linkage to process of official Karina 'N' for allegedly fabricating an investigation folder against Senator Waldo Fernández González. During his speech, Villarreal Zambrano pointed out that while he served as a spokesperson for MC, 21 investigation folders were opened against him, which he described as fabricated. 'This is not a law enforcement institution: it is a partisan cell with license plates and pistols, the persecutory arm of a political faction,' he added. He explained that the point of agreement proposes that the Attorney General's Office investigate the institutional practices of the Nuevo León Prosecutor's Office, particularly regarding the integration of complaints, the opening of investigation folders, and the possible use of the criminal system for political purposes. The deputy indicated that the judicial precedent derived from the Karina 'N' case forces the review of other files that may have been integrated under similar circumstances, with the aim of ensuring that the administration of justice is exercised impartially. In response, the PRI legislator, Lorena de la Garza, requested that a point be added to the agreement to also investigate various state secretariats for the same case of alleged partisan use. 'The ASE fabricates the complaint, the PRI Prosecutor's Office fabricates the file, and the Judicial Power finishes you off,' she stated. By adding the potential penalties associated with these files, the figure would reach 298 years in prison, a situation he described as absurd by comparing it to even having more sanctions than criminals like Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán or Nemesio Oseguera 'El Mencho'. 'It is a request for adherence, since the partner Glen speaks of the partisan use of institutions, I want to point out that last year we denounced the partisan use by the State Government... if the partner Glen accepts, add a second paragraph so that the Attorney General's Office also investigates the partisan use of the Health, Labor, Civil Force, Civil Protection and Environment secretariats, both of its inspectors and elements,' she said. On behalf of Morena, deputy Greta Barra - an ally of Senator Waldo Fernández and a victim of the fabrication of these folders - highlighted that justice is not within reach of the people of Nuevo León. 'How much they don't do to the people of Nuevo León,' Villarreal pointed out. 'All opened, all invented crimes... I have more open files than 'Chapo' Guzmán or 'El Mencho'... the Judicial Power gave it to the former PAN coordinator.' Villarreal did not refuse to present the request, however, he asked not to do it in his project. 'If Karina 'N' was given prison for fabricating a file, what should happen to those who fabricated 21 against me?'
