
Last Sunday, 16 people were arrested during a security operation, of which 13 were municipal police officers from Nacajuca, Tabasco. The action was carried out by the National Guard and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Tabasco at the 'Nueva Esperanza' ranch, located in the Ejido El Hormiguero. The individuals were having a gathering, grilling meat, when they were arrested and transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office specialized in high-impact crimes.
Among those detained were agents of the Municipal Police of Nacajuca, as well as three civilians, including the owner of the ranch, a brewing businessman. Authorities are investigating possible links between the municipal police and the other detainees, as well as the activities they were engaged in.
A list with the names of the detainees and their positions was circulated in local media, although official confirmation is awaited from the Attorney General's Office of the State of Tabasco. The list includes several municipal police officers from Nacajuca and other detainees, such as José, the alleged owner of the ranch and businessman; and Luis Alberto, along with another civilian.
The search warrant with file number 005/2025 was issued to obtain evidence such as firearms, drugs, communication equipment, and surveillance at the 'Nueva Esperanza' ranch, located in the rancherÃa El Hormiguero, in the municipality of Nacajuca.
