Capture of 'L-12' and 14 Armed Individuals in Navolato

Mexican security forces conducted an operation in Sinaloa state, arresting 13 suspected members of the 'Los Mayos' faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. Agents seized a significant amount of weapons and vehicles after repelling an armed attack.

On October 18, Luis Alberto "N" alias ElCañase was arrested in Navolato, Sinaloa, as part of a military operation against a criminal group linked to the Chapitos. Six others were also detained, with weapons and tactical gear seized.

In Navolato, a family mourns the loss of two young men killed in violence. Their mother, Doña Norma, sadly passed from a heart attack after receiving the news.
