Celebrating 50 Years of Child Education at BUAP

The Children's Circle of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) celebrated its 50th anniversary, highlighting its contribution to a more just society through the integral formation of children. During the event, the center's director, Margarita Trujillo Landa, expressed gratitude for the presence of Dr. Cedillo Ramírez.

The Children's Circle provides support services in various areas such as health, nutrition, safety, pedagogy, oral health, and parent school. It is divided into two sections: infant-maternal, for ages 45 days to 3 years; and preschool, from 3 to 6 years old. Its educational model, called "Curriculum with Cognitive Orientation or High Scope Program," focuses on active learning that considers the needs and growth pace of each child.

During the celebration, Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez recognized the work of the Children's Circle staff and shared Children's Day with the little ones, offering fun activities and gifts. It was announced that a call would be published to evaluate staff performance and provide economic incentives. The celebration culminated with the handing out of gifts to the children and commemorative presents for the educators, as a token of appreciation for their dedication in the daily care of the minors.

The Children's Circle of BUAP has been essential in the initial and preschool education of the children of university workers, laying the foundations for their integral development and fostering skills that will allow them to face future challenges.
