The governor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta Mier, has assured that the State Development Plan will not be an extensive document, but rather a well-structured and adaptable project, subject to constant evaluation throughout his term to allow for continuous improvements.
During his participation in the Specialized Forum for Citizen Consultation for the State Development Plan 2024-2030, held at the Theater of the University Cultural Complex (CCU) of BUAP, Armenta highlighted the importance of citizen participation in the updating of the governmental plan, emphasizing that everyone plays a crucial role in the progress of Puebla.
In the governor's words: "We are all important in the development of Puebla." Likewise, Armenta stressed the need to govern with order and compliance with the law, as nearly two million citizens demanded when they elected him.
Armenta pointed out: "These are not simply ideas," alluding to the importance of adhering to the law, the Constitution, and the planning system to ensure an effective government based on solid principles.
Regarding the State Development Plan 2024-2030, it is expected to undergo weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reviews during the six-year term to ensure its relevance and adaptability.
Furthermore, the governor reiterated his commitment to transparency and accountability, highlighting the active participation of citizens as key to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in Puebla.
The State Development Plan 2024-2030 will address five strategic axes: Economic development, Social development, Sustainable development, Security and justice, and Government and transparency.
